To carefully study the good and bad features of something in order to decide how significant, valuable, or effective it is. English = evaluate Note: 1. The variant sign was borrowed into the Australasian Signed English system from ASL in the 1980s. It uses the letter E in the one-handed fingerspelling alphabet. It has been accepted and used as an Auslan sign by some deaf people, especially in education by teachers of the deaf, their students, and interpreters.
