1. Used immediately next to a verb to mean the action happened near the end of a period of time, or a process; or that it happens after the time that was arranged or expected. English = late.
2. Used immediately next to a verb to mean the action happened too close to the end of a period of time, or a process, to be useful or relevant; or that it happens long after the time that was arranged or expected. English = too late.
