A day in which there are lots of clouds in the sky and the light is poor; an overcast day; a dull day. As a Verb or Adjective: 1. To have lots of clouds in the sky. English = (be) cloudy. 2. To have lots of clouds in the sky and for the light to be poor. English = (be) overcast, (be) dull.
